It's not all black, but it's all matte... One for you Tone?

Officially it's called Steel Grey Smoke and Thunder Black Smoke.

A - the Burgundy is effing GORGEOUS!

B - " a few more months"?  When are the '19 due out?

2019s are out. They're just not in Australia yet. Well, a couple are and a Chieftain has already been sold!

Expect them in more numbers in late January to early February.

The 2018 models were in the Sydney store in November 2017 and I rode my 2018 bike home in December 2017.
The 2019 bikes should be there already.

Yes, but not many - there's always a small number by the end of the year but the bigger shipment is (and always has been in Melbourne) late January or early February.

Mate.. "not in Australia" = "not out", to me..  Haha!

They'll be in the stores just as I'm coming back home to Oz, great.

I wish I had seen these posts prior to buying my 2018 RM two weeks ago.  Costing me heaps to "matte it out" - damn. I agree, I so wish I could have got it "darked out" to start with as an option instead of as expensive accessories.

Hello again
Advice, help, suggestions would be appreciated -

I am disappointed with the capacity of my RM's fuel tank - 20.8 litres is just not enough for the kind of rides I often do.

I need suggestions on how I can carry extra fuel - auxiliary tank would be nice but have been told by my "customiser" such is not possible. Jerry cans is just not the correct "look".

For safety, I need about a 400 km range. I am use to (sorry people) an adventure bike with the extra large fuel capacity (and I still carry spare fuel). I do a lot of extended outback rides - read: no people, no towns (very few police) and absolutely beautiful skies and landscapers. Can go all day and not see another person (apart from my "ride buddy") car or building - great stuff.

I am converting my RM into a trike so I can extent my outback tours and tow a small "Teardrop" caravan. Looks like the caravan will have to carry jerry cans - not pleased.

Hey Pappa, there was a discussion / thread on this forum somewhere about bladders.  This may be something that you can use.  I will see if I can find it.
