Fyi all, I spoke to Polaris the USA about some issues I had on the ride command, this one issue was an interesting response

1. Can't seem to get live traffic or weather to work even in theno matter what I do in terms of Bluetooth or USB data tethering approvals with my phone....

Response:  Thank you for your patience. For your 1st issue - Unfortunately, I have been told that there are no cell modems on international bikes, and so there is no supported way to get live traffic and weather. Thanks, Andrew David.

I have alerted the Sydney dealership this morning as this means Polaris/Indian Australia is false advertising features on their 2020 range.

Thought I'd share it, because as a daily rider this is a feature that was attractive to me.

Oh no, that is certainly a very disappointing response. And a very poor function outcome for something is clearly handy to have.

I hope you get a better answer soon, although it isn’t looking great.

Update: I heard back from the development team and there is a bug on the displays for the international Indian bikes when connecting over Bluetooth. When tethered with Bluetooth, the bike’s display is trying to pull navigation, waypoints, etc.. from the cloud instead of using the local information that is stored on the display. The problem is that the information in the cloud is only comprised of data for North America. The bike is overriding the local data, expecting to get new updated data from the cloud. They have created a bug for thiw and it has been added to the backlog for a future release.
