Has anyone found a slimline rear indicator that actually works on an Australian Indian Bobber? I have tried to wire up a couple different kinds on indicators but due to the wiring configuration I can't get any to work properly, so I am interested in hearing from someone who has fitted smaller slimline style Rear indicators to their Bobber as has all the functions operational.

Which indicators have you tried?

Apparently a "diode box" is needed, according to the folks I've spoken to. I'm looking to place an order to the UK for both flush-mount 3-in-1's plus the control box.

It sounds like you might have run up against the difference between traditional wiring and Canbus. Modern auto electrics doesn't have wires running to each light, it has a computer network where signals are sent along common wires to micro-controllers that control sets of lights, such as tail/brake/rear indicators.

Aftermarket indicators need to be Canbus compatible, and sometimes even if the supplier says they are, they can still not play well on some bikes. The bike's computer checks circuits for continuity and demand all the time and if there's a mis-match it can shut them down. The aftermarket lights need to be within the tolerances of the computer's expectations.

NZcam - The rear indicators are Joker Dual Rat Eye LED turn signals. I tried even using the Joker Intensifier. I have Joke front signal light but of course less function and no issues getting them to work.
I can't believe no one has come up with a more slimline signal light as the Bobber ones are Hugh and ugly just like the rear license plate holder..

NZcam - can you send me a kink to the indicators you are ordering? The people/ Bobbers in the US seem to have a different wiring because they seem to get the Joke signal light working???

I'm planning to place an order for the Wunderkind flush-mount 3-in-1's. If anyone else is after a set (don't forget the control box), maybe we can get a volume discount? I'm also watching the exchange rate, hoping it will lean in our favour.

Thanks for the link, the indicators and control box sold separately so approx 353GBP - not cheap.
That is a crazy price 194GBP for a control box??? I wonder if I could get away with just buying the control box and using my Joker indicators??

Have you looked at Arc-X, they do 3 in 1s, email them. I’ve found them very good to deal with.  Eg. I had 1 fail on me they sent a replacement immediately from the US, I offered to send the broken one back but they said no don’t worry.
