AntiqueMotorcycles
G'day all,
let's start with a bit of an introduction to who we are and what we do here at Antique Motorcycles. Antique Motorcycles was started in 1988 and since then we have become the centre for classic, vintage and specialist motorcycling in Australia. We have been passionate about the Indian brand on a personal and professional level for a number of decades and are excited to be a part of this growing forum!

We offer a huge range of services all in the one place at our shop in Cheltenham, right next to the Moorabbin airport. We have a fully kitted out workshop with authorised Indian technicians, we carry and have access to the full range of Indian motorcycle parts & accessories, we can do everything from scheduled servicing and warranty work to ground up restorations and wild one off customs. We also have the fully licensed "Naked Racer" bar and cafe where you can get a top quality meal and enjoy a hot or cold drink, it's a great place to hang out while you're waiting for your bike to be serviced or just come in to enjoy the awesome welcoming atmosphere.

There is a museum exhibiting over 250 of the most exotic and desirable motorcycles and paraphernalia from all around the world, trust me you need to see it to believe it, you can spend days in here and still not see everything! Our "Classic Racer" club is over 300 members strong and provides an excellent social aspect as well as being able to register your classic bikes on the red plate scheme here in Victoria.

There is so much more that we do so if you have any questions don't hesitate to contact us, watch this space for more information and updates as well as some special deals for IMF members. We are looking forward to joining in and staying active on the forum!

And to prove our commitment to the forum we are offering a 10% discount off scheduled servicing for forum 'Full Members' (members with 50 forum posts or higher) only, stay tuned for other specials we have in store!

The museum is fantastic, there is so much to look at. A great place to have a bite to eat and a drink or two. Shame I live so far away.

I was fortunate enough to visit Antique Motorcycle 'Museum' several times. Everytime I walk around, there is a new bike.

For people living out that way (South Eastern Suburbs and to anyone happy to travel), it is a great dealership to go for a test ride. I think many are thinking, "I rather test ride an Indian along the beach road", rather then get stuck in the city traffic.

Welcome Antique Motorcycle to our tribe! [thumb]
Let's be kind to one another.

Thanks Antique Motorcycle.  It is great you guys are backing us.  I take my bike to the city dealer at the moment but I will see if I can come out to Cheltenham.  I want to support vendors supporting us.

Hi Guys,
Welcome to the forum.  We really do appreciate the discounts for members.  I hope that we can make it worth your while.

For the benefit of the readers / members would you be able to put up your operating hours (workshop and bar) so that anyone that is thinking of visiting will know when you are open and what to expect.  Would you also be able to post your web address (which I suppose would have your contact details and operating hours anyway).

I have been here quite a number of times and was even able to contribute to the museum.  This place is awesome.  The food is great (and for the likes of VTwin - Friday night is Tapas night), the bar does not discriminate (one of the bar staff rides a Harley [confused]  ) and the company is terrific.

Do yourselves a favour and go and have a look.

Now that the weather is getting better it may be worth having another attempt at organising a ride on Friday evening to enjoy the live music, food and drinks that are on offer.  If we can find a date that works........

I went to Antique Motorcycles in Cheltenham this morning.  What an absolute fantastic place this is.  I checked out 3 x Indian Scouts and one of them which was gleaming in the Indian Red colour sitting on a raised up podium looked absolutely mint.  The amount of bikes on display in this place is amazing.

I am going to be buying a 2019 Scout and intend to have all of my servicing done here as I live in Patterson Lakes and I am just guessing that they can service bikes while I wait and have breakfast or lunch because the menu that they have looks delicious, I may have to change my username from Fatscout to Fatterscout!  I was somewhat surprised how busy this business was tucked away in the back of a factory estate.

If you are into Indians, own an Indian or like motorcycles in general you have to visit this place and it would be best doing so on an empty stomach!  Well done Antique Motorcycles for providing a business of this caliber in the south eastern suburbs.

Couldn't agree more. I bought my scout from there yesterday. What a ripper of a place!

Purchased my Chief Vintage from here, best sales and after sales service I have seen in a long time

Initially called the "other" dealer in the city however the salesman was rude, had no time to answer questions and did not even know what bike I was asking about which was advertised on their own website

Called Johnny, had all the time in the world to answer my questions, did not have a bike on the floor I wanted but had one in the next morning before I even confirmed I would purchase.  Pedro is also great, very friendly and again more than keen to help with questions, accessories etc.

I had my Scout in there last week.
Friendly people, excellent work and awesome after sales help.
I live 3 hours away and they were able to help getting it down and all of that, so I can't speak highly enough and I couldn't be happier with their help.

I had my machine serviced there the other day as well as some other mods.
Probably the best service that I have had so far and it was pretty cost effective as well.

The guys there really bend over backwards to help you out.
