Today while visiting the Indian Dealership in Brisbane , I was admiring the 2017 Two Tone Scout . I was discussing the bike with a staff member , and the question came up . " Black or Brown seat on the Blue / White Scout . Here are the pics you decide . The bike comes with the Brown , but I quite like the Black with this colour combo . So that is my vote , What do you reckon ??? PS The Black seat used was a reduced reach item , so a std Black Scout seat would look slightly different .

Between the black or brown on that Blue Scout... my vote is black.  But generally, I do like tan saddle on my Indian... except on Darkhorse range.
Let's be kind to one another.

Your bag looks great, does it double as a back rest?

My vote is black for the two tone. I still like the tan on my favourite traditional red colour though!

I kind of like the black.
The brown looks out of place.
You have black frame (or charcoal), black motor, black shock springs, black fork sliders, black triple tree, black tyres (not much you can do about that though), black controls on the bars - don't see why you would stick a brown seat on.
It would be like wearing tan shoes with a black suit (IMHO) - not that I am in any position to dictate fashion (still stuck in the 80's).

Having said that, I have a tan saddle on my roadmaster but there is a lot of it and most of my bits are chrome or painted (not so much black) - didn't like it so much at first but I have got used to it (put a sheepskin over the top to change the colour [smile] )

Kinds depends - if you are going to load up with pillion seat, back rest(s) and saddlebags, then the brown would look great.
However, the black looks really good if nothing else is there.
So going by the two pictures you posted - black!

A tan seat tells everyone that it's an Indian but after seeing the black seat on the blue and white Scout, it looks good.
