Thought I'd share what I've just bought and curious about what other people have...

This is what I decided to try for my phone. Plan to mount in front of the dash 12v power socket so I can also charge on the fly.

I just have the USB charger wired in for charging during rest stops or at night if needed, but I own a google pixel and if I turn battery saver on and only use to bluetooth music to helmet and phone calls then I get about 3-4 days before it needs a charge.  I did mount a phone when I first got it, but on the dark horse and 16" apes it just looked dumb so I removed

I also have a battery pack that charges phones and jump starts bikes so that is my primary tool and I can put in bag/saddle bag etc with phone and charge as I ride

So this is NOT a thread about just my mount. The title has changed! WTF!

As I said, "Thought I'd share what I've just bought and curious about what other people have..."

Not just phone mounts. Drink holders, comms etc.

Kristopher and Face, thanks for sharing your ideas.  We wish we had something to hold my iPhone on the handlebar.  🙁

I thought you wanted to know what other people used for mounting their accessories too?

That is a very nice offer Face.  Thank you.  I don't have anything attached to my handlebar at home.  I was referring to having something on my rental bike while we tour USA Southwest.

What about cup/bottle holders? Obviously a prerequisite is an open face helmet.

I use this one. Seems to do the job... and yes an open face helmet is required.

I have a quadlock case for my iphone but you can also buy quadlock mounts which adhere to the back of other phones/cases.  I bought a Blackview BV6000 which is an Android phone to use on the bike when I am in foreign parts and can remove the handlebar mount if I want with an allen key quite easily.  This has proven to be eay to use on the Chief Classic.  The BV6000 links via Bluetooth to my Sena helmet system.  The BV6000 has great battery life, but only 32Gb of memory but thats heaps for Rever, Google maps, etc, and some music to keep me company.

Quad Lock arrived today. Highly recommend it! The phone is exceptionally secure and also simple to put on and off. I think I'll paint the blue tab black. Or plastidip it.

I'm old fashioned.  I just have the RAM mount system and an X-Grip/Holder.  Works for me.

I like to keep my phone I my pocket. Don't need GPS and don't need to see the screen to play music, so don't really have much need for a handlebar mount. Everyone's different, but this method works best for me.

Streaming from Spotify I sometimes like to switch playlists etc so need to be able to reach the phone easily to do that rather than stopping. Also needs to be able to be charged at the same time as 4G streaming is battery intensive on the backroads.
