Wind Horse
Hi all,
First time new member here from Ohio. I am a member  of the national IMRG and secretary and membership Director of my local chapter 1946 North Coast Cleveland. I have been a member  of another Indian forum for a couple of years and have always wondered what this one is like so I decided to join up. I have a 2018 chieftain classic and I love it. I call it a Master chief since I added the trunk and lowers. She is silver smoke matte. I have been married for 30 years and have 6 children. 5 boys and 1 girl. Looking forward to chatting with folks on this forum.

Welcome Wind Horse.  I hope you enjoy your stay.  Good on you for taking on an active role for your local IMRG chapter.  US, like Australia is a great country to tour on a motorcycle.
Let's be kind to one another.

Thanks guys! Australia is one of the places on my bucket list that I've always wanted to visit. Only thing is I hear there are a lot of critters over there that can kill you! LOL! And yes I love my IMRG. They are a great group of folks!

Thanks Phil! To all you folks over there in Oz. I am very sorry to hear all the reports about the recent fires over there. I haven't watched the news the last couple of days but I heard you were supposed to get some rain. I hope things are getting under control!

Thanks for your concern Wind Horse
The fires have been devastating particularly on Australia's east coast although West Australia has had a few but not the magnitude that the eastern states have experienced..yes the rain did come and there was quite a lot of it too...
Its good to see the residents of Australia and other International agencies coming together to assist with the rebuild

Hi Wind Horse, welcome to down under. Hopefully you'll get over here to see the place one day. And hopefully it will be fire free.

Yep, lots of places have got some rain, and some places have got lots of it. So now there is flood damage up north and hail damage through Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne. Where I live we see the rain radar showing most of the rain falling a mile out to sea but not much over land. No half measures down here at the moment.
Cheers, Kim.

Is this the same Dr. Shifty that's on the US Indian forum?

Yeah most folks that ride Indians are good people. To steal a slogan from another bike company "you meet the nicest people on an Indian!" LOL!

We could get lost more often, or find more frozen hail-struck 'snowing on us' roads over mountain ranges, lots more stuff. 🙂
Cheers, Kim.
