I find it hard to believe that Indian don't seem to make many models anymore with the Indian red as a standard color scheme, either as a single colour or together with the cream or black. They were available in several or all models in 2014-15 but they seem to have gone away from it. The newer brighter sparklie red on some models is just not the same. Surely it was a good seller for many years and worth keeping in their line up for history sake. Thoughts?

Agree Daggers...but the quality of the paint jobs have improved since my 2015 RM.

In the first few years of Polaris resurrecting the Indian brand, they needed a tie... like the skirted fenders and Indian red and Springfield blue... but now that they have established the tie to the history, I believe Indian is now responding to consumer demands.  19-inch wheels with chopped fenders and matte black paint.

I am told the classic look of Indian Vintage is also out (not selling), especially with tan leather.  So I guess Indian will continue to respond to demands?  I think this is particularly apparent when we see a lot less models and colour options than USA.

Gidday V-Twin, yep, I get the whole supply and demand thing, it’s how a company survives long term, particularly against a historically strong competitor in HD. I just thought that there might be always space in the line up and in the showrooms for one model at least which kept the Indian Red and duplicated the original lines and visual features, just for that group of owners that love that look. Maybe it will all come full circle as many things do and we will see the look back again in 2024, or Indian will release a limited edition of something like what I am talking about, which is always good to spike sales and increase interest in the brand. It’s all good and I’m sure it’s all for a good business reason.

Maybe Daggers...  The Indian red might be back one day.

I have the red/cream Vintage, gets a lot of looks.  Same with the scout, which is red/black.  I like the look of the
all black bikes (I hate chrome, too much cleaning! haha) but I would steer away from that as it seems Everyone is
buying them.  It will be like Harleys soon, ten Indians parked at an event together with the owners double checking
to figure out which one is theirs!  ðŸ˜‰

I've got a red scout.  Was actually after a black one but got a good deal on the red one.  I am not crazy about the tan seat though and am looking now to swap it out for a black one and also get black exhausts.

I own a 2014 red Vintage and dyed the leather a mahogany colour which I reckon is way better than the light tan (just my opinion).  That might be harder to do with the post 2014 bikes?

The red / Black scout I really liked unfortunately coulded find one . Compromised with a Bobber ordered a Red one . I think as some have said will bring Indian red colours back occasionally for a spike like tradition in sales .
