Friday 8th May

On the bikes around 8:00. Nice ride through Mildura and on to Wentworth. Then the long, fun run from Wentworth into Broken Hill. (about 290 kms)

We’ll be making arrangements for Fuel for all the Scouts, Bobbers and FTR’s to get us all into Broken Hill with a few hours to spare before the info session with Chris kicks off.

Saturday 9th May

This is what we’re all here for – CU in Silvo where we'll try hard to crack 700 Indians in a parade and make a bit of history.

Sunday 10th May

The Gippsland crew are heading to Halls Gap for the ride back (670 Kms) or feel free to make your own arrangments back home.
Those heading to Halls Gap are mostly staying here

Monday 11th May

Those staying in Halls Gap will be saying their farewells and making their way back to Melbourne. Others will be continuing on some of the best roads in the country as we make our way to Lorne on the Great Ocean Road. Those still on the trip with be staying here.

Tuesday 12th May

The end of an epic adventure. From here most will find their own way however the Gippsland riders will make their way to Queenscliff and jump on the ferry across to Sorrento and make our way home from there.

What time roughly do you think this group will be in Wentworth on Friday. I’m planning on taking a bit longer route in the preceding days but would like to catch up for the run from Wentworth to Broken Hill.

G'day Wideone. if we leave Swan Hill around 8 am (probably more like 8:30 am knowing bikers) it's 2 1/2 hours to Wentworth. We will probably stop in Mildura for a quick coffee so we should hit Wentworth around 11:30 am - midday. There should be a good size group coming through so you won't miss us.

Thanks Tony for the update.  I will meet you at Keilor more likely or join the rear of the pack somewhere just after.  can you tell me the name of the new store as the dealers were a bit vague still in melbourne about the changes - it was just by chance i found out they moved the closure up to april (from october). Cheers.

G'day Lyle. I believe the new store will be at  2/16a Keilor Park Dr, Keilor East and it's called MCA Motorcycles,  but I could be wrong. Will have an idea closer to the date, if it happens..(fingers crossed)

At this stage, I think Roman, from the Melbourne store, will be leading us but I will confirm that later.

Good point about Wentworth Lyle. The problem is Google maps have got it wrong. For some reason, they have Wentworth showing 21 kms north of the real Wentworth.. Well spotted!... So it should be a no brainer to take B79 to Broken Hill.

Under normal circumstances I’d be loading up the Chieftain today and heading off to Devonport. My plan was to ride to Echuca tomorrow and then Mildura the following day. Then Broken Hill/Silverton. After Silvo I’d kept my plan open for 10 days and thought I’d just mooch around. Bugger! Instead I’m about to put the second coat of paint on my front fence. Double bugger!
