I am guessing here that the sheepskin was added to alleviate sore butt syndrome (SBS).  Did it work ?  How long were you able to ride before SBS without sheepskin, and how long now ?
I've got SBS too and was thinking about sheepskin.  By the way how, this doesn't look like a custom fit.  How much did that set you back ?

Congratulations Mr Crash!  Ignoring the sheep skin, the bike looks great!  I really like that colour.  Once you clock up a few kms, I hope you can do us an indepth review?

When I first got my first roadmaster, I rode it without a sheepskin for a while but I don't remember what the feeling was like.  Personally I think that the sheepskin has two attributes.  Firstly it puts and airgap between your butt and the seat which means that you don't have to move around so much.  I watch people when we are on rides fidgeting on their seats thinking, they should do it - they don't know what they are missing.
The second attribute is that the heat from the motor does not seem to penetrate the sheepskin in the same way meaning that your inner thigh stays a little cooler.
My pillion like it and she now has one on her bike as well.
Don't take any notice of these other guys - they don't know what they are missing [biggrin]

Yes, please do ignore us immature people who likes to tease Crash when he is using his 'bottom tickler'.  [wink]

Thought of the sheep skin but have purchased an Airhawk for the wife to try...
Seems to experience the SBS after about 2 hours... but by then its either not far from destination or time for coffee and or petrol...so good excuse to stop for a walk...

That sheepskin goes really well with your color combination.

Try deflating it more. It should be inflated barely enough to perceive and definitely not feel like she's "rolling around" on it.

Airhawk was one of the best things I've ever bought for any motorcycle! Does everything a sheepskin does, and more. And without looking like you're molesting a dead sheep.

That is true, it does do more. ๐Ÿ˜‰
That is not true, you don't look like your molesting a dead sheep ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
