Hi
my name is Shane. I currently ride a 2017 chief classic. Brought the bike in December 2017 . Having its 8000km service today. Love riding the country roads of the Atherton Tablelands. Looking forward to meeting up with other Indian riders in the future. I have not yet seen another Indian up this way yet

Welcome Shane.  You are a long way up!  Port Douglas way hey?  You might be able post a photo of your bike next to a crocodile one day. 😜

Hi v-twin
Thanks for the reply.I live about 2 hours from Port Douglas. I live up in the mountain area. Just got my wood in for winter. Not many crocs up this way. Lived in Arhnem Land for 17 years, saw lots of crocs in both good and frightening circumstances.

Hi Shane, enuf about the Crocs....  You don't see that many of them on roads anyhoo (cept in Darwin).  I'm the only one that rode regularly near Alice! haha  Welcome to the forum mate, it is a good place.  Take care, ride safe.  Shiny side up!

Hi Shane,

Welcome to the forum from sunny Lake Macquarie. I love your part of the world and spent some time up there many years ago when my Dad lived in Cairns. I hope your Indian isn't lonely for too long. 😉
Cheers, Kim.

Definately!!  In fact, some of us are riding up the east coast in July from Melbourne to Gold Coast so hopefully we are passing your way.
