Hi guys,

I'm Mike, I'm from Cleveland Queensland and I recently bought an Indian Chief Vintage. I've stepped away from Sportsbikes and am now heading down the cruiser path. I love it. I've never been into Harleys but I think I might just be an Indian guy 😎

Mods include the stage 1 exhaust and fishtail tips. I'm thinking about getting the floorboards for my pillion as the next upgrade and perhaps a screen for those longer trips.

Cheers Mike

Hi Mike
There are more than few people on this forum who converted to Indians from sport bikes because they are a non Harley option. Also plenty of converted Harley riders and a few hybrids with both.
Enjoy

Welcome Mike, enjoy the forum it's pretty cool.  Got a Vintage also, great bike.  My Vintage came with a screen, are you looking to upgrade or you purchased it without?  I must admit, mine is not always on the bike, they are just as good without!  ðŸ‘

Welcome to the tribe... and congrats on the Vintage.... 2015 for me.. Screen is essential for long trips & floor boards for the passenger make it more comfortable for them & ultimately a better ride for you...  enjoy

I bought the bike second hand and I believe the previous owner said he didn't want the screen. I'm hoping to do a trip down to Northern NSW so I will need it for sure. I'm going to have to check the forum on stiffening up the rear suspension fo long term two-up riding.

Awesome, I've seen another vintage around here with the ape hangers. Once they lift the restrictions we will have to catch up. I believe there are a few Indian in the Redlands.
