Hi guys... coming to you from the small township of Canowindra NSW... just purchased my very first Indian Chief Vintage 2019. Have been an admirer of this awesome bike for ages and now. Can’t wait to start cruising around the Central West NSW. Cheers all

Welcome aboard mate.

I hope you enjoy your stay here.

I do love the Vintage line - awesome bikes.

You are in a great region to ride around as well - if not a tad crisp on winter mornings!!

Welcome to the forum, Ambro.

When I lived at Bathurst I was often riding out your way. I had a mate who knew every coffee shop and public toilet in every town in the central west. I imagine if I headed out again my brain would take me straight there again. 🙂
Cheers, Kim.

Working as a paramedic it is not uncommon to be asked by travellers about where is the best coffee shop when they see the ambulance parked up lol

Welcome Ambro!  Is that a play on words?  An Ambo Brother maybe?  ðŸ˜‰
You should like this forum, it's a great venue for all things Indian (and not so Indian, worried about Dr Shifty having a brain that can
take him to public toilets...).  I've got a Vintage also, great bikes, good for long hauls.
Anyhow, enjoy the Ride & stay safe out there.  ðŸ‘

Thanks Croc... it is a play on words. I was given this nic-name from a Maori shearer (& good mate of mine) who has recently moved to W.A (believe it or not) which has stuck lol. Hard case really... as a lot of the local shearers around my town only identify me by this nic-name these days 😂

I understand Ambro, my other half is Maori, She has an odd version of our fine language also!
Nicknames are funny things, I've had a couple (some good, some bad) & Croc is a shortened version of Crocodile.  Got it in the military
as one of the WOs decided that everybody on his crew Had to have one so he made them up!.  It stuck, but it could be worse, there are
lots of reptiles with less likeable connotations! ðŸ˜‰

Hi Lobo... An unfortunate fire occurred last week at the hotel. Damage has occurred on the second floor affecting three bedrooms due to an electrical fault. Hopefully they will be able to get things back quickly. Cheers

Thanks Jollster for the warm welcome. I was in Cargo on Saturday actually.. Went for a ride via Cudal and back to Canowindra. Awesome day for it. Stopped at the coffee shop there. Really great coffee.

Welcome Ambro,
my father in law owned a property on Mandurama Rd just on the other side of the river. Sold it to vineyard people.
My youngest son had a visit to the base hospital about 26 years ago after splitting his head open. I played night golf on the racetrack back in the day and never had the opportunity to do it again.
we always enjoyed our weekends there.
Oh yeah, enjoy your ride 🙂
