Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand... Contrary to other posts I've read in the past week or so, fits perfectly fine with the pillion back rest! Great setup! Looks awesome and I imagine comfort levels are better too!

Yes it fits no worries the rear seat sides do sit on the hand hold bars of backrest so I dont know if that may cause any wear over time, we'll see what happens, but yes very comfortable. Thanks

Hi Cloud when I fitted the seat I did not remove the sissy bar with a little bit of push and bend you are able to get the rear seat bolt tab under the bar. The seat is the Genuine leather heated touring seat Part # 2882563-02 make sure it has the trimmed base on the rear seat section if not it will not sit flush on the rear guard. Some RM seats do not have a trimmed base.

Nice one Mick!  Who would have thought the RM seat design changed over the years... it make sense in hindsight but...

Hi Cloud Yes if one for sale just check the rear passenger seat section where the heated seat switches and go 3 x studs back and if there is no hard edge on outside but feels soft it should be the one that will fit the Springfield / Chieftain . I hope that explanation helps.
