Absolutely agree that you will get carbon and it will turn black quickly, but I am not sure it would build up enough to impact anything material. I expect a coating not a build up as such and I think it would take a significant build up to affect sound. Of course I could be wrong of course.

I'm not 100% either Robbo.  Over the years, that is what I was told and I accepted their explanations.  You will experience it for yourself so see what you think.

I love the pipes so far and the sound would have to change a lot for me to change my mind. But it is interesting to speculate and I am inclined to curiosity.

Hello guys
I have a 16 Chief and would like to upgrade the exhaust to warhorse, can you please let me know if you have to have the bike dyno tuned and power commander or similar fitted after fitting or are they plug and play.
Any dramas with the cops with the 3"?

I have the 3 inch baffles and no problems with the cops. It is deeper and loader than Indian Stage 1 but it is far from being the loudest bike on the road.
If you are upgrading from stock pipes then you would need the flash tune for Indian Stage 1 or a PVCX so you could upgrade the tune.
If you already have a stage 1 or 2 tune then you are good to go as is.

I got mine from West End Motorsport in t h e US. They were a bit under $1,000 AUD landed from memory. That was in March 2017.
