For the life of me I can not understand the design of the OEM crash bar for the Scout. My bad for not sending it back with the OEM Windshield that I did not like. Hope someone has a suggestion for a
quick fix. Thanks ;new user to the forum.

Hi Tim,

Welcome to our forum.

Can I just clarify your post?  Is the Indian Scout Engine Guard making it difficult for you to use your foot pegs?

These are the ones you are talking about?

Just wondering if these engine guards would interfere with Gort floor boards.

Sorry tried answering sooner but I am somewhat IPAD challenged.

The angle of the OEM crash bars makes it difficult to put a set of road pegs on the bars 09D0D84C-DAB0-4206-A806-B3B8C8F90201.jpeg

Hey Tim, would you mind clarifying what you mean by ’road pegs’?  Are you saying...
(a) Existing pegs are not working well for you as your toes touch the engine guard?
(b) You want to put bigger floorboards but you can’t find a set that will work with your bike?
(c) You want highway pegs that will work with your engine guard?

Looking at Tim's photo and the arrow, I'm going for adding a set of highway pegs to the engine protection bars. .
Cheers, Kim.

I just received my engine guards so I'll post some pics showing the position of my Gort boards. I also have highway pegs from my Boulevard that I will try on the guards.
