i am looking at changing my bobber seat for a springer style seat and kit.

Has anyone got recommendations of suppliers? And pictures would be great.

Cheers.

Went into to the Brisbane dealership and the lads had a Mother Road tractor seat in store. Installed it today. Love the look and hopefully will have a bit more give on the road.

Are they bouncy?  Big springs appear bouncy?
Let's be kind to one another.

These look like the stock 4" springs which i find are stiff but not too stiff...still have enough give that it doesn't give that harsh of a ride.
I've done 2 hours from Central Coast to Gloucester on this seat with little issue. Probably could've done more but needed to stop for fuel.
I did for a while put 3" springs on but found after 15000 odd km that they had compressed a little and the seat would hit the rear fender (actually where the stock seat would usually mount).
That made things a little more jarring.
Have recently gone back to the stock springs and realised it makes for a much more comfortable ride.

Got to ride it for the first first today. It is a little bouncy but not a problem. I am around the 95kgs and it seemed better than the stock seat. I went on a long shop ride on the standard seat and found that it got uncomfortable. I am hoping that the springer seat will help with the short suspension travel. I am not sure how the springs will go while going through twisties. I think once the springs sag or settle it will be fine. I am going on the Black Dog ride this weekend, so will be able to give it a good run then.
