I’m checking one out this week, anyone got one or had one that can comment on what they’re like, good and not so good points?

I have one for the day when my SF is in for service next week.

Looking forward seeing how it rides.

Will report back afterwards.

I love mime, have had it about a year now.  I'm 6 foot 2 and tried a scout,  the FTR was much more comfortable and performed better.

Bobzilla, how do you find it for ride position, handling and poke?

Hey @Lenny - not sure if that was a question for me?  If it was then no, it is from Sydney. If it wasn’t, then sorry about wasting your last 15 seconds . . .

Hi Lenny,

Not sure what poke means,  but the ride is good.  You sit high in the seat and on the bike. Ive had harley's, road bikes, victories and this ftr rides somewhere in between. Great bike for long road trips and for a bit of off road. Only fault would be the small fuel tank....have to top up every 150 k's.
Love it even more with my mew S&S slip on and Cat removed.

All good mate, it’s kind of unimportant, there’s one in Mandurah that I’m about to look at. Was just wondering if it was the same demo bike.

Bobzilla, thanks for the response.

Pole as in power and responsiveness. Just keen to get a sense of them.
